When Bonnie receives a Lilypad tablet as a gift, playtime changes for Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of the gang. As Bonnie becomes increasingly absorbed by the new device, the toys find their familiar roles harder to fulfill. Faced with electronics as a new rival for her attention, they must confront an all-new threat to the way they have always been part of her world.
