In the autumn of 1982, in a small town on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, six teenage friends face a turning point after growing up through the turmoil of the Cultural Revolution. Bound by years of shared childhood and close companionship, they try to stay together as history shifts around them and new difficulties test their lives and friendships.
