A coming-of-age comedy, On My Block 2018, hailing from Lauren Iungerich (who created MTV’s initially terrific Awkward) with Eddie Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft, focuses on a group of ascending freshmen trying to survive their inner-city Los Angeles neighborhood and the ravages of high school.
